The following internal registration process is structured and followed exactly for all clients.

Interview procedures

All permanent, temporary and contract candidates registering with WR Consultancy, whether for a specific vacancy or a general registration, are interviewed face-to-face by one of our trained consultants. Our in-depth interview process involves a minimum of 45 minutes. 

Skills testing

Quiz Skills Testing is used at WR Consultancy and is the most widely used PC-based office skills evaluation system in the world, with over 10,000 installations. More than 15 million individuals have been evaluated using this highly respected system. Quiz skills testing is unique, not only for being so comprehensive but in its quality and diversity. All major clerical skills can be evaluated, from basic typing, grammar, word processing and spreadsheet skills (basic to advanced knowledge), to the ability to perform shorthand and audio dictation.

Reference checks

After candidates have gone through our in-depth interview and skills testing and assessment, we then move into the reference checks process. WR Consultancy uses a standard referencing criteria that is either undertaken verbally or mailed out for completion and return. It is normal for us to approach the previous employers which cover the candidates previous 5 years working experience and/or their last two employers.

Candidate preparation

Once it has been identified that the candidate has the necessary skills, qualifications and personality to meet a client's requirement, we ensure that the candidate is fully briefed on the position they are being interviewed for.

At our office, we endeavour to keep company literature on all our clients for the purpose of candidate briefings. However, candidates are also directed towards company websites and encouraged to do their own research.

Once a candidate has been selected for interview they receive written confirmation of the details of the interview, together with a copy of the job description and any other associated documentation.
